Dear Folks at Home:-

At last we are sure of going. The day of departure has been changed from Monday until Tuesday but that doesn't make much difference.

I got the money all right last night and many thanks for it.

Archie and Euart are back from Sarnia and they must have had a pretty fair time down there by the way they talk.

There are a lot of people in barracks this afternoon as it will be their last ?

The Daughters of the Empire are supplying us with plenty of eats so we don't need to worry about that. By all accounts they must be going to give us a pretty fair send-off by the preparations they are making.

Everybody is busy getting ready and although we were on Church Parade this morning yet this doesn't seem much like Sunday.

Will close now and will drop you a card whenever I get a chance.

Heaps of Love

John
