Sergt. A. Knight, of P.P.C.L.I. Takes Matrimonial Vows

Sergeant A. Knight , returned veteran of the P.P.C.L.I., is again in the
limelight. Last night, after being joined by reinforcements from England,
in the person of Miss Dorothy Fenner, they stood up in the firing line at
the Salvation Army auditorium and were made man and wife.

This terminates a romance of several years' standing. They were to have
been married before the war, but as the groom says: "I did not get married
and take a chance on leaving a widow," so the ceremony was postponed. The
bride arrived from Sussex, England on Monday.

The newly-weds will live on Fourth avenue for a time, but will later remove
north, where Sergeant Knight has been engaged as watchman on the Grand
Trunk bridge over the Red Deer river.
