Service Biography

George Frederick Sumison was born on 3 September 1896 at Bath, Somerset, England. A farmer living at Huntingdon, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and reported for service at Montreal on 8 August 1918. He served in Canada as a private with the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment. He was struck off strength and discharged at Montreal on 8 September 1918.
