Service Biography

Hector Raymond was born at Hemmingford, Quebec, on 20 July 1896. A single Roman Catholic farmer living at Sherrington, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force at Montreal on 20 July 1918 as Private 3088704 with the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment. He served in Canada and was discharged at Montreal on 25 March 1919 on demobilization.
