Service Biography

Joseph Reil was born at Huntingdon, Quebec, on 25 May 1895. A farmer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment at Montreal on 22 July 1918 as Private 3089183. His service remained in Canada. He was discharged at Montreal on 18 February 1919.
