Service Biography

Harold Findlay McNaughton was born at Hemmingford, Quebec, on 25 August 1896. A laborer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment at Montreal on 12 August 1918. His service remained in Canada. He was struck off strength and discharged on demobilization at Montreal on 12 September 1918.

1918-08-12 — Executed a military will naming Miss Jennie McNaughton of Hemmingford as executrix and beneficiary.
1918-09-12 — Struck off strength on return to Registrar's Records and discharged on demobilization.
1919-03-05 — Administrative confirmation of discharge signed by the Officer Commanding, Discharging Unit.
