Service Biography

Arthur Menard was born at St. Stanislas in Beauharnois County, Quebec, on 6 December 1896. A farmer and Roman Catholic, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment at Montreal on 15 July 1918. His military service remained in Canada. He was discharged on demobilization at Montreal on 30 January 1919.
