Service Biography

Rock Minard was born at St. Edouard, Quebec, on 27 November 1896. A farmer living at Hemmingford, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment at Montreal on 20 July 1918. He served in Canada as a private and was discharged at Montreal on 24 February 1919 on demobilization.
