Service Biography

Duncan McKinnon Lindsay was born at Dundee, Quebec, on 21 September 1896. A farmer from Franklin Centre, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act, 1917, and reported for service at Montreal on 10 July 1918. He served in Canada with the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment and the Canadian Engineers at St. Johns, Quebec, and was demobilized on 6 January 1919.
