Additional Next of Kin Notes
Mother: Jeanne Bussiere, Genier, Ontario, was named next of kin at enlistment. Father: Georges Bussiere, Genier, Ontario, corresponded with National Defence in 1941–42 concerning Yvan's location. Angeline Leguerrier of Clarence Creek, Ontario, corresponded with National Defence in December 1941 seeking his location; the existing CWVMP record later identifies her as his wife. The service-file evidence reviewed does not establish that Yvan and Angeline were married at enlistment, when he was recorded as single.
