Service Biography

François Xavier Tisseur was born on 16 November 1896 at Beauharnois, Quebec. A single Roman Catholic farmer living at Beauharnois, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and served in Canada as Private 3165822 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. He was medically classified A2 and was struck off strength on demobilization at Montreal on 6 March 1919.
