Service Biography

Ovila Prevost was born at St. Chrysostome, Quebec, on 14 April 1895. A single Roman Catholic farmer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and enrolled at Montreal on 17 July 1918 as Private 3167504 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He served in Canada and was discharged on 29 January 1919 under demobilization arrangements for Farmer's Leave.
