Service Biography

Napoleon Primeau was born at Montreal, Quebec, on 25 November 1891. A married Roman Catholic Saw Doctor living in Beauharnois, he enrolled at Montreal on 2 August 1918 under the Military Service Act as Private 3171105 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He transferred to the 4th Battalion, Canadian Garrison Regiment on 27 September 1918. In October he was treated at Guards Emergency Hospital in Montreal for influenza and recovered. He was discharged at Montreal on 5 December 1918 on demobilization.

Napoleon Primeau was drafted under the Military Service Act and enrolled at Montreal on 2 August 1918 as Private 3171105 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He transferred to the 4th Battalion, Canadian Garrison Regiment on 27 September 1918. In October 1918 he was treated at Guards Emergency Hospital, Montreal, for influenza; the hospital register records admission on 5 October and discharge on 14 October after an uncomplicated nine-day course. He was discharged at Montreal on 5 December 1918 on demobilization of the C.E.F.
