Service Biography

Albert Reid was born at Saint-Martine, Quebec, on 14 August 1896. A farmer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment at Montreal on 16 August 1918 as Private 3172002. He served in Canada and was discharged at Montreal on 7 February 1919 on Farmer's Leave.
