Service Biography

Emery St-Pierre was born at Saint-Clément-de-Beauharnois, Quebec, on 28 March 1896. A cook, he enlisted at Montreal on 16 July 1915 as Private 448593 and served in Canada with the 57th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He was promoted Acting Corporal in March 1916. A Medical Board at Quebec found him unfit for military service, and he was discharged there on 10 July 1916 as medically unfit.
