Service Biography

Emile Mallette was born at St. Urbain, Quebec, on 11 November 1897 and was a farmer living at St. Martine in Chateauguay County. Drafted under the Military Service Act, 1917, he reported at Montreal on 22 August 1918 and served as a Private with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. His service was entirely in Canada. He was discharged at Montreal on 29 January 1919 following demobilization.
