Service Biography

Adrien Tessier was born on 10 March 1896 at Valleyfield, Beauharnois County, Quebec. A single Roman Catholic labourer, he enlisted at Valleyfield on 15 March 1916 and served as a private with the 163rd Battalion (French Canadian), Canadian Expeditionary Force, including service in Bermuda. A Medical Board found congenital flat feet and recommended his discharge as permanently unfit. He was discharged at Quebec on 22 November 1916.
