Service Biography
George Trudeau was born at Valleyfield, Quebec, on 15 August 1893. A single Roman Catholic farmer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and reported at Montreal on 1 May 1918 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. He embarked for England in June 1918 and served there with the 10th Reserve Battalion. In 1919 he was temporarily attached to the Canadian War Records Office in London. He later returned to Canada aboard S.S. Belgic and was discharged at Quebec on 25 August 1919 on demobilization.

On 7 January 1919 he was attached to the Canadian War Records Office in London for temporary duty. After that attachment ended, he returned to the reserve/depot stream for demobilization. In August 1919 he was struck off strength to Canada, returned home aboard S.S. Belgic, and was discharged at Quebec on 25 August 1919 on demobilization.
