Service Biography

Hildege Viau was born on 1 August 1896 at St-Timothee, Quebec. A single Roman Catholic farmer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and served in Canada as Private 3167327 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force. His service reckoned from 16 August 1918. He entered the Farmer's Leave demobilization procedure in January 1919 and was discharged on 10 February 1919.
