Service Biography

Albini Sauve was born at St-Louis-de-Gonzague, Quebec, on 4 March 1895. A single Roman Catholic farmer living at Manseau, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and entered Canadian Expeditionary Force service at Montreal on 25 July 1918 as Private 3168967 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. He served in Canada and was struck off strength on return to the Registrar's Records and discharged on demobilization at Montreal on 25 August 1918.

Notes

Sauve was a single Roman Catholic farmer living at Manseau, Quebec. His sister Mrs. Agnes David of Manseau was his next of kin. He had no previous military or naval service. His Medical History Sheet records height 5 ft 5 in, weight 107 lb, chest 31–34 in, good physical development and Category C2.
