Service Biography

Wesley Radford Sadler was born at Ormstown, Quebec, on 5 August 1895. A single farmer living at Maxcombe, Saskatchewan, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and entered Canadian Expeditionary Force service at Regina on 6 July 1918 as Private 3354440 with the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Saskatchewan Regiment. He was medically classified Category B2 and served in Canada. Sadler was struck off strength on transfer to the Registrar's Records and discharged at Regina on 11 August 1918.

Notes

Sadler was born at Ormstown, Quebec, and was living at Maxcombe, Saskatchewan. He was single, a farmer, and a member of the Brethren faith. His father John Willoughby Sadler of Maxcombe was his next of kin. He reported no previous military or naval service. At calling up he was 5 ft 8 in tall, with a fully expanded chest of 37 in and 2 in expansion; complexion fair, eyes brown and hair light brown.
