Service Biography

David Ord Taylor was born on 9 November 1894 at Ormstown, Quebec. A single Church of England teamster, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and reported for service at Montreal on 30 May 1918. He transferred to the Canadian Engineers and served in Canada as a Sapper with the Engineer Training Depot at St. Johns, Quebec. He was struck off strength on demobilization on 17 January 1919.
